Don't do it!!!!!!!
Strengths:
It was on sale for $459.
Weaknesses:
I think I wasted $459. It started once and then quit. I brought it back to Walmart under the 2 year warranty and was told I needed to ship it to Florida for service.

Summary:
BUY A HUSKY!!!!!!!!!!!
Strengths:
I love the fact it doesn't use much gas.
Weaknesses:
It doesn't use gas because it's been broken since the first week I bought it. When I call the hotline (in China) nobody answers. Lowes won't help me either. I'm screwed!

Summary:
It works fine, so I have no idea what these other people's issues were unless they expected to blow away 6 foot drifts of wet snow in one pass. I've had Toros and Huskies and neither lived up to the hype. Hondas are way overpriced and don't perform any better.
Strengths:
Does what it says, works fine. No troubles. Clears the drive, the wife likes to use it. Electric starts every time.
Weaknesses:
They should just give you the cab for it, that's overpriced for what it is separately.

Summary:
I would highly recommend this snow blower to anyone to whom cost is an object. If you really like to spend a lot of your cash, buy an Ariens.
Strengths:
Starts on first pull so reliably that I did not use the electric start during the entire season. Works very well in all except very very wet snow but I haven't seen a snow blower that does. My previous snow blower was an MTD who manufactures Troy-Bilt and it lasted for 25 years. I also like the Troy-Bilt web site and all of the support it offers.
Weaknesses:
Can be a little difficult to turn, but power steering has made us all a bunch of wimps.

Summary:
Good product which does what is expected of it.
Strengths:
None, starts every time, clears everything I've thrown at it.
Weaknesses:
Just wish I'd known that it really isn't a Toro. One manufacturer, MTD I believe, makes this and almost all models for a majority of manufacturers. Also, I'd wish I had known it also has a Chinese engine. It runs fine but would have been nice to know.

Love it!
Strengths:
Started it up for the first time this season. Started right up in 3-4 seconds! Anyone that is having trouble starting theirs probably didn't put dry gas or drain the tank last year. Common problem with snowblowers.

Summary:
Gets the job done. Haven't snapped a shear pin yet!
Strengths:
Decent price?
Weaknesses:
The Chinese engine runs much rougher than American made Tecumseh it replaced. "Motorboats" under load - Putting on the choke slightly helps.
The fancier Cub Cadet appears to be similar, but has a light, chute adjustment with flip, and easy to pivot feature. $150 more (~3 yrs ago) and probably worth it.
Minor: Filler inlet is hard to judge fuel level, risk of overfilling. Corrosion starting around inlet gas cap seal.
I think Lowe's regular price is list price.

Summary:
Great snowblower, just wish it was $400 instead of $600. Owned for 3 seasons now.
Strengths:
Strong. Does expected Job well. Starts EVERY time. (drain gas and change oil at end of every season) Does well in heavy snow. Scrapes clean even in light snow.
Weaknesses:
Broke a plastic mount for the electric start during one cold season. Still works of course. Could use a bigger gas reservoir, however still adequate.
