Summary:
This is by far, my favourite trimmer. Power, weight, and ability.
however for comercial use (8 hour days). The Weight and vibration increase fatigue. Along with this, the short run times, a result of tank size, or fuel consumtion ads time onto jobs.
The head design, and spool design are great, and the Stihl carb is what I have come to expect from all stihl products.
Strengths:
Power, power/weight ratio, reliablility, Head design, Carb design, repair/servicability.
Weaknesses:
Louder, higher vibration levels, runs very warm/hot compared to other 2 stroke trimmers, high fuel consumption.

Summary:
Take care of it, use fresh gas, clean the filter once a month, grease it and you set to go. Store it in a dry place over the winter and drain the fuel tank.
Strengths:
Mine is Stihl FS85, same engine but a solid shaft. Very reilable machine, use it often in the spring and summer, can go 30-40 min. with a tank of gas, 0.44l that is, with 3/4 to full throttle with the trimmer head (AutoCut 25-2). Always use fresh gas up to month and a half the most, very good in high grass for a 25cc engine, up to 30-40cm, when cold starts in 3 pulls, when warm I let it cool down for about 5 minutes, put the gas in and starts first pull. I am the only one operating this machine, so I take care of it, never abuse it when that is not needed.
Weaknesses:
Adjusting the harness, vibration in the handles tire you out after about 2-3 hours, when using a blade in high grass it gets caught up in the deflector so that realy pisses you off cause it stalls the machine.

Summary:
EXCELLENT TRIMMER, its sucks theyre not making these anymore
Strengths:
great for commercial use, well balanced, we only maintain about 15 yards a week (im only 17 and just started) but this trimmer is way better than echo or husqvarna, i know that because i got rid of them to get this one. it has plenty of power and isnt too bad on gas although my stihl 4mix edger is alot more efficient. i dont use brushcutters , just line so i cant tell you if it does well in the brush or not
Weaknesses:
vibration, but if your runnning it for just 10 min at a residential property..who cares?
