Summary:
I've only used it 4 times and it went through 2 spools of line! If I can get the line feed and tap n go thing to work, this might be a good weedeater. I love the fact that it starts right up and cuts faster, but the line feed thing is driving me crazy!!
Strengths:
Starts 1st or 2nd pull, easy to use, cuts weeds and grass fast, and uses gas/oil mix very efficiently, but I need a reliable weedeater for 1 acre with rocks, gravel, cement, and alot of trees. Line spools are cheaper at $6 compared to $15 for Craftsman.
Weaknesses:
Tap and go doesn't work right and I'm having problems with the line feed. After years of using a Craftsman auto feeder, I thought I would try a Poulan tap and go, but since it is using more line, I may have to return to an auto feeder. Also, this engine is louder so I have to wear ear protection.
