Summary:
Its alot better than the POS from sears that it replaced. I hope to get a few years out of it.
Strengths:
This may seem odd, but my favorite feature of this is the clear gas tank. I can easily see whats left. My old trimmer kept running empty because the tank was black. I personaly like the reach that I get from a straight shaft trimmer.
Weaknesses:
For whatever reason I feel like every time I come in from the yard I smell like exaust. I can't explain it.

Summary:
I was sirprised that this machine is standing up to the heavy duty (pro) trimmers. It gets kicked around and runs for hours at a time, month after month.
Strengths:
Tough, Easy to Start, Lightweight with Plenty of Power: All very important points for a machine that you have to depend on. The light weight is a real back and arm saver.
Weaknesses:
Not able to switch to other cutting options, but you know that going this.

Summary:
I would purchase this same weedeater again if still available when this one goes down. I have owned many brands, some more exspensive, but would not trade this one for any of them. I believe any one would be satisfied with this trimmer. Great performance for the price.
Strengths:
Great power and very dependable for small or large jobs. Starts easily and are all around reliable.
Weaknesses:
Original type heads wear seem to quickly but they are easy to refill and are problem free.

Summary:
Works great! I bought a Husky 150BT blower and was impressed with the quality for the money. So I figured that if my blower can hang with other blowers such as the Echo 620, their line of trimmers should do just as well. I spent close to $300 for my Echo SRM 230 and while it's a great trimmer, the Husky 223L trims better due to its lightweight and costs roughly about 30 bucks less. I can't wait to get one of Husky's chain saws!
Strengths:
Light, easy to trim and less accidental scalping. Also all the wires (throttle, stop, and fuel lines are enclosed by the casing.
Weaknesses:
Enclosed casing makes takes a bit more time for those who like to replace parts themselves.

Summary:
Kicks ass, no questions asked. But there are typically no questions with Husqvarna
Strengths:
Everything! This trimmer, as well as anything husky makes (2-stroke, anyway)is top of the line. Easy start, powerful, easy to load string. This trimmer is an animal, too. whether edging along the driveway, or cutting waist high grass this trimmer excels at it all.
Weaknesses:
None. To the guy who claimed smelling like 2-stroke exhaust is a negative, this is a real machine that produces real power. If you don't want real power, get an electric trimmer

Weaknesses:
(for the older folks),like most, it gets a little weary on the lower back after awhile.

Very well ballanced trimmer. compared to echo, sthil, craftsman, ryobi this is the lighter and better ballanced of them all. Tried them all out. Has great power. Starts on second pull if directions are followed. Even with the junk champion plug it comes with.{Replaced with NGK}.
THIS TRIMMER IS FANTASTIC. I've got A very bad back {disabled} and have no problem using this trimmer. Thank you Husqvarna for making this lightweight reliable trimmer. I needed it!
Strengths:
Lightweight, very easy starting, long shaft for getting under bushes, swings etc..,very reliable. Large trimmer head for lots of line.
Weaknesses:
Champion plug from factory? should of came with NGK.
No automatic choke system? Its out there they should of used it!

Summary:
I highly recommend this trimmer. Best bang for the buck!
Strengths:
LIGHT as all out! When I started my landscaping business last year I bought a Echo SRM 230. I happened to be shopping at my local Lowes store and found this weedeater for sale. I only had to pick it up one time and my bank account was $265 cheaper that night. This thing is simply a beast! I've since bought another one and my Echo is now sitting up in the garage collecting dust.
Weaknesses:
I haven't found any weaknesses so far. They are simply dependable!

Summary:
I have owned this trimmer for about 1 month and it is a great machine. I looked at a stihl, but some folks I know complain about how hard they are to start. That was all it took for me to buy the Husky & I am glad I did. For the guy who could not wait to get a Husky saw, knock yourself out I just bought a 445 XTorq. The decompress button makes starting a snap, great power & lightweight!!
Strengths:
Easy to start, always starts, easy to put line on, great power
Weaknesses:
A little pricey, but most likley worth it.

Summary:
Overall a wonderful weed eater. Well worth the money I paid for it. Since the weed eater, I have purchased a Husqvarna chain saw and riding lawn mower. What can I say, great products.
Strengths:
This is a lightweight and easy to use weed eater. I've owned it 4 years and the only things I have replaced are gas and trimmer line. Very reliable and works on both small and large projects with ease.
Weaknesses:
Yes, the exhaust smells but you can't cut weeds and expect to come out smelling like roses. I've replaced the head a couple of times over the years due to excessive wear. I'm a little rough on weed eaters but if I had to pick a weakness this would be it.

Summary:
I spent hours upon hours on line comparing trimmers. For the price, name and quality, plus the reviews which were very positive, this model could not be beat. Lowes had them on sale plus was able to use military discount (THANKS Lowes!) so I think I done good! Very nice trimmer, works great, not too loud and nice power.
Strengths:
Price for the quality, brand, power and dependability. Weight is nice and length not too bad to tall (6'4") guy, me. Only one part to put on during assembly (shield). Started right up after put togeather.
Weaknesses:
Cannot add blades, I don't think. Seems to vibrate quite a bit in idle but not a biggy.

Summary:
I love it; it works great. I bought a 4-Cycle Roybi from Home Depot; it broke down within an hour with a lot of hard work getting it started. I took it back and gave ROYBI the benefit of the doubt; I assumed may be that unit defected and picked another one, sure enough, it stopped working within an hour as well. I returned it last night and bought a 2-Cycle Hasqvarna from Lowes. I used it all morning, it works great, is very powerful, starts easy, and I can honestly see a good and quality engineering work in this machine. As a professor of engineering, I do recommend this machine and I would buy the same brand again. I must mention that this company also make a very good Snow Blowers. Consider that.
Strengths:
Powerful, easy to start, reliable, good quality components, and a good engineering work
Weaknesses:
As it was mentioned above, I do also smell of like oil burning or rubber burning smell. I cannot figure out what it is but has not affected the performance.

Summary:
Will probably buy another Husky when this one goes. I have a stihl and never use it anymore due to how lightwieght the husky is. As for the average person that would use this trimmer for only trimming around house I highly recommend. Also for the professional its tough and has great power. Yes this is a two stroke and you mix oil with your gas so it does smoke, and it does stink. Any two stroke engine will smoke and stink, not at all a bad thing. Ill keep you updated with how it holds up as the season begins to wind down.
Strengths:
Great Trimmer. I previously used a Stihl FS80 and so far I like this Husky a lot better. I professionally trim and use a trimmer anywhere from 4 to 8 hours a day and 6 days a week. This can destroy most cheap trimmers, the stihl held up nicely but after about a year of this amount of work everything started to break. I have only used this Husky for about a month and its very lightwieght, I dont seem as worn out after long days of trimming. Starts easily even when cold starting. Good power from the lightweight motor. In my opinion straight shaft trimmers are superior to curved in everyway and since this is straight thats another advantage.
Weaknesses:
So far none. Only used a month but used a lot. Havent been able to find a blade so im not sure if this is capable of changing heads.
