Summary:
I have never had it serviced. It runs reliably. It is not glamorous, but does the job. I have used it for 7 years. I have been hoping to wear it out so I can get a a newer unit with lower noise, rubber grip and cruise control.Not great power but has about the same power as a basic RedMax hand held unit. (I compared my Homelite with my neighbors RedMax in hopes of being impressed. I did not see much difference although she loves
Strengths:
Starts always within 3 pulls. Not hard to pull start.
Pretty good power. It idles well.
Weaknesses:
Noisy. Vaccum is not any good. No cruise control. It sucks at my shirt when using it right handed. No fan nozzel.
