Summary:
I used the Fisher 8' HD MM2 for 5 years plowing both small commercial (2 acre and less) and residential accounts. This plow could take one serious beating and could move a ton of snow. I added Prowings (for the commercial lots) and a backdrag edge (to scrape better in reverse). I did have to replace the solinoid after 4 years and the Fishstik's circuit board twice, but overall I would highly reccomend it. The rust is only at the edges and this plow can go another 5 years with minimal maintenance. Note the newer ones have reversable scraper blades and better lights.
Strengths:
High moldboard, Trip edge, Minute Mount2 EZ mount system, Fishstik handheld controller. The ability to short-chain the plow if a problem happens.
Weaknesses:
Scraper blade is not center drilled so cannot be flipped. Fishstik circuit board (like a tv remote) can wear out and needs replacement. The lights could be brighter.
