Summary:
Probably more blower than I needed. Took some time to get use to controlling the clippings in a pile without them going next door. works great for blowing off roofs and gutters. I understand there is a mist attachments, but can't find one on the shelf.

Strengths:
powerful and dependable, love all the metal parts

Weaknesses:
On/off switch not protected well. Shoulder straps could use more padding.

Summary:
If you want this to be the last blower you ever need to purchase this is the one for you. I wouldn't recommend any other unit over this model. This unit is more reliable then an 80's toyota pickup

Strengths:
I own two of the older models (PB400) that were branded under John Deere and Toro, both were manufactured in the 1980's and both run like the day they were new. Main housing and frame are made of metal. Parts are still available for the 30 year old units not that you need many. Very powerful, more reliable then any other blower made. There is a reason they still make these basically unchanged over the years.

Weaknesses:
Slightly on the heavier side due to metal construction but there is all plastic units that weigh just as much.

Summary:
great model to own i like how easy it is to see the engine it makes it much easier to see and /or diagnose a problem if and there ever is a problem its simplicity is its best strong point it only has what it needs to have to be a blower no more no less the less bells an wisels the less that can go whrong

Strengths:
massive fuel tank witch can be nice for big projects metal parts is nice and tough very dependable like a slant 6 engine these blowers have been in production for 30 yrs what more can you ask for after all there is no hiding quality with this model

Weaknesses:
the throttle control is an aquired taste with it being hip mounted the back straps could use more padding
