Summary:
Very good saw for the light stuff, and still has the power for the occasional bigger tree.
Strengths:
Very Powerful for it's size. Not a blazingly fast saw, but far more torque than competitor's(Stihl/Husqvarna) saws with 5-10 more cc's displacement. Excellent ergonomics for a lightweight saw.
Weaknesses:
Air filter cover!!! Has to be checked regularly, or it'll loosen up.

Summary:
The saw is tough and for the size has great power. It does struggle in cold weather so keeping it warm is key. The pull chords have broke a few times but nothing you can't fix your self. Has never been in for a repair.
Strengths:
You will not kill this saw, the engine is bullet proof. We have two of the older models called the 3400 or something like that. The saw is light and cuts well. Can handle a 16" bar and run fine.
Weaknesses:
Starts rough in the cold and as a result the pull chord has broke a few times. Needs to warm up before you can start to cut. Take the guard off the tip of the bar that echo puts on and you'll be in better shape.

Summary:
Good all around saw from limbing to 12"-14" oak on occasion
Strengths:
Starts right up, very light weight , good mid level saw (16inch bar)
Weaknesses:
I find myself using it on bigger jobs than I should because of its weight to power ratio.
