A saw that should be highly avoided. I bought it for a limbing saw but the pos can't even do that.

Where do i start, Choke is a joke, won't idle, Won't start when it's hot. Anti vibes wear out in an hours time. I could go on and on.

Summary:
It has been a great saw for the money. You can't beat it. I have my die hard Stihl and Husky guys shocked at how well my saw cuts. I have dropped over 20 trees on my own and have help people drop more than 50 plus and it still runs strong. It has taken several falls and has started every time. If it dies the next time I use it I will still say it was worth the money.
Strengths:
Good starting even after sitting for awhile. Light weight. O.K. power. Great price
Weaknesses:
Could use a little more power for the bar length. I up a shorter bar on it and use it for a trim saw.

Summary:
If you just want to cut something like while camping or want a saw to lend out so you can keep your good saw home safe, then get this one.
Strengths:
I have had one for nearly 4yrs of moderate use. Now dead. Not really happy with anything about it.
Weaknesses:
Heavy. Parts cost more than unit is worth if you want to fix it. Bogs down.

I have never seen a Stihl last a homeowner 14 years without taken their saw to a repair shop.
But my 1987 year Craftsman Chainsaw Model No. 358.351181 42cc 18 inch have prove and stood the time. It has lasted 14 years, without having to take it in to repair shop that sell chain saws at retail price such as Stihl, with is overpriced.
Strengths:
I bought a Craftsman's 18 in. Gas Chain Saw back in 1987.I've used it every year up to 2011. I have cut complete down an up around 37 pine trees ranging from 11 inch up to 27 inch at the base an up to 83 feet in height and into 18 inch pieces. Only thing that I have ever done to the saw. New plug, air filter, Bar, several chains , one clutch cover, one chain tension screw Never have taken it into a chainsaw repair shop. Crank up every time on the fourth pull.
Weaknesses:
After 14 years. I do have a stalling out problem with it. Clutch cover is cheap made and tension screw. Should be made out of steel. Screw and attachment that keep the chain tight should be made out of force steel.
